Collide at Rainbow Studios in Darlinghurst
Rainbow Studios – the gallery and creative space from Brent Gold and Jade Gillett – is a bright, independent beacon for the arts; hosting exhibitions, events, workshops and more in its intimate digs. Next up is Northern Rivers/Bundjalung-based artist Shannon Heath, who’s making her solo debut in Sydney this month.
Heath’s body of work is characterised by collisions of colour and contrasting florals, and draws on a decade of design experience working in fashion. With Collide, she brings sunset oranges and lime-green hues to the studio’s walls via handmade, graffiti-like stencils.
On opening night, from 6pm till 8pm, there’ll be botanical spritzes by Drink Tanica and drops from Natural Order Wine in the courtyard – make sure to RSVP to the free event.
Shannon Heath’s Collide will be showing at Rainbow Studios from Thursday February 15 till Thursday February 29.
