Food and Drink

Mon Dec 08, 2025

6pm–9:30pm

Flaminia, Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour, 61 Macquarie Street, Sydney

Price: Tickets $90 for Broadsheet Access members

Giovanni Pilu and Marilyn Annecchini are set to bring their Med-inspired eats to Circular Quay as they lead the food offering at new venue Flaminia. Broadsheet Access members will be among the first to sample the new menu at an exclusive dinner during launch week.

The hospo couple behind Manly fine diner Pilu at Freshwater named their new venture for the boat Annecchini’s grandma arrived on in Sydney, 1959 (in sight of the new restaurant’s harbourside location). As such, Flaminia promises to be a celebration of Italy, its coastline and its connection to Australia.

The menu will offer a taste of five Italian port cities channelled through local produce at luxe hotel Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour.

Access members can hear all about the new venture from Pilu himself, in conversation with Broadsheet Sydney food and drink editor Grace MacKenzie, at the Readers’ Preview – as well as tuck into a lavish sample menu. Dishes on offer include baccala mantecato (Venetian-style whipped salt cod) with toasted sourdough, market fish crudo, prawns alla Catalana and ziti al ragu Genovese (braised beef shin and onion ragu).

Log in or join Broadsheet Access today to secure your invite. Tickets will be extremely limited, so get in quick to avoid missing out.
