Readers’ Preview at Darling Glebe

Food and Drink

Thu Feb 12, 2026

6:30pm–

134A Glebe Point Road, Glebe

Price: $105 for Broadsheet Access members

Need some romantic plans for mid-February? We may just have you sorted.

The birthplace of Sydney’s farm-to-plate movement transforms into a luxe subterranean brasserie – featuring a martini-soaked bar and a French omakase chef’s table – when Darling Glebe opens this February.

And Broadsheet Access members will be among the first through the door for an exclusive dinner experience during the venue’s opening week. Think of it as our early Valentine’s gift to you.

Helmed by chef and restaurateur Jeff Schroeter (The Savoy London, Royalton Hotel New York, Bistro Moncur, Bayswater Brasserie) the new restaurant will occupy the iconic Darling Mills site on Glebe Point Road.

A French-inflected menu contains nods to the original restaurant – pulling from the founding family’s 35-year-old cookbook – and will source product from the Darling Mills Farm. And, of course, Readers’ Preview attendees can hear all about the new dishes (and old inspirations) from Schroeter himself, in conversation with Broadsheet Sydney food and drink editor Grace MacKenzie.

Tickets will be extremely limited. Don’t miss out – secure yours below.
