After a lockdown hiatus, innovative CBD cocktail bar PS40 is back enlisting some of its mates – who happen to be topnotch chefs – for its Takeover Tuesday series. First one back on the roster is former Chin Chin and Spice Temple Melbourne head chef Graeme Hunt, who's serving up mod-Asian fare with his solo venture Joyride.
Expect bites such as scallop ceviche with kumquat kosho on a tostada; steamed tom yum prawn siu mai; prawn katsu with shaved cabbage and "good good" sauce in a Martin's potato roll; and a smoked beef cheek and kimchi taco. It comes with one cocktail on arrival, plus you can add on a dark chocolate mousse made with Mr Black.
Joyride will be at PS40 on October 26 and November 2. There are two sessions each night, at 6pm and 8pm. Book via firstname.lastname@example.org.
