Pill Testing Saves Lives Rally

Sat 19th January, 2019
Sydney Town Hall
483 George Street, Sydney
The call to action follows the death of a teenager last weekend.

A rally will be held this Saturday to demand pill testing in NSW. It's been organised by Keep Sydney Open, Reclaim the Streets, Unharm, Sniff Off and Students for Sensible Drug Policy to protest the lack of government action on drug reform.

The rally is a response to recent drug-related deaths at NSW summer music festivals, following five fatalities in the last four months. The groups are opposing Premier Gladys Berejiklian's hard-line position on pill testing. Berejiklian has previously stated her government will not consider pill testing as an option to reduce drug-related deaths at music events.

The rally will commence at 4pm outside Sydney Town Hall.
