Photograph Sydney’s Beaches From the Air With a Bondi Lifeguard
Bondi local Anthony Glick, best known as a surf lifesaving guard as seen on the reality TV show Bondi Rescue, is passionate about showing people the wonders of coastal Sydney both in and above the waters, in person and through photography. Now he’s offering the chance to join him on a helicopter flight to take your own snaps.
Glick first started snapping Bondi as an amateur photographer in his early twenties, and has since built himself an ever-growing army of Instagram followers obsessed with the area. Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, he honed his craft while in Australia, waking up early each morning to capture the rugged landscape in all its natural glory. His pictures tell a story of Australian beach life: the mingling of yellows and greens when land meets sea, the ocean of umbrellas and towels on a hot summer day, the stunning hues of a sunset.
Glick’s helicopter photography tour begins with a mini photography course at Bondi Beach, followed by a scenic coastal drive to the airport and a 30-minute helicopter ride over Sydney’s spectacular eastern coastline. You’ll be able to snap some of Australia’s most awe-inspiring beaches, including Tamarama, Bronte and Coogee. You’ll also receive a Destination Towels beach towel.
The tour takes around three hours and is open based on availability. Enquire here.
