The Peacock Lounge at Royal Randwick
Your classic race-day vibes will get a shake-up this spring, when a swish new pop-up comes to Royal Randwick’s Winx Stand. The Peacock Lounge is opening for five days across Sydney Everest Carnival, with live music, a bright new fit-out, glasses glistening with fizz, and star-powered dumplings.
The Peacock Lounge will also host a trackside dance floor, then at the close of the raceday, Sydney talent like Teddy Cream (Sydney Surf to Turf Day), Levi (TAB Epsom Day) and Kinder (Moet and Chandon Spring Champion Stakes Day) are set to keep the party going. Acts will soon be announced for TAB Everest Day and The Big Dance on Cup Day finale.
Celeb chef Hayden Quinn is lending his kitchen skills to a yum-cha-style menu, featuring his delicate water-chestnut-and-prawn dumplings – best fired up with his signature chilli oil. Fluffy pork-stuffed steamed buns, satay chicken skewers and lobster spring rolls are also available.
The fun at the lounge circles a large bar with sharp service. Park up in a booth or under an umbrella looking over the track, with a glass of Chandon sparkling or a crisp James Squire lager in hand.

The Peacock Lounge is open on September 21, October 5, October 19, October 26, November 5 during Sydney Everest Carnival at Royal Randwick. Entry to The Peacock Lounge is included in your race-day ticket.*
