Paddo Collective’s Live Music and Art Week 2025
Paddington is turning up the volume this summer with Paddo Collective’s second annual Live Music Week. From January 29 to February 2, some of Paddington’s best-loved venues celebrate culture, community and creativity with live music and a whole suite of food and drink specials.
Kick things off on January 29 at the Paddo Inn, with live music and $15 cocktail specials from 5pm. Over at Saint Cloche, the Sunset Soiree combines art, music and food for an opening night exhibition complete with a glass of vino from The Wine Library or a Tommy’s Margarita, made with Casa Tinto tequila, on arrival.
On January 30, immerse yourself in live funk and jazz with local band Double Shot playing at The Paddington.
On February 2, Brazilian singer-songwriter Ariane de Souza plays streetside from 3pm to 5pm at Tequila Mockingbird, where you can get porchetta tacos and $15 cocktails from midday. Over at The Wine Library, a Rio de Janeiro-style takeover means baile funk de favela music and a courtyard barbeque from 1pm.
On four Sundays from February 2, Paddo Collective is also running walking tours of the village, drawing out the weird and wonderful history behind its longstanding venues. Hosted by Sydney historian and raconteur Max Burns-McRuvie, the tours will uncover Paddington’s notorious criminal past, including shady characters and unsolved mysteries, as well as architectural gems. Participants meet outside The Wine Library at 11am, and finish with a free drink at the 1890-built Village Inn, thought to be the oldest continuously operating pub in Sydney. Book your tickets here.
