The Odd Bits Dinner by Dan the Man Cooking
Why should we scoff at offal, turn our nose up at tongue, steer clear of tripe? Dan the Man feels that we have forgotten how to cook and eat these less popular cuts of meat. His response to this is The Odd Bits Dinner, a five course meal to celebrate the food that our supermarket system has forgotten. For its inaugural dinner held at The Old Growler, Dan the Man Cooking will serve up a lamb from shoulder to saddle - even dessert is in the fray with a sheep's milk pannancotta.
Dan the Man Cooking and The Old Growler share a passion for local, seasonal, sustainable fare. Feather and Bone will provide New Horizon Dorper lamb from Riverina, while The Local Harvest Collective is on board to supply fresh produce, with Young Henry’s beer on hand to wash it all down.
