Nox Night Sculpture Walk
Every couple of years, the wetlands and green spaces of Randwick in Sydney's east come to life during Nox Night, the biennial event that sees sculptures and artwork plonked in the middle of nature.
It's happening at the Randwick Environment Park, which is being lit up by sculptures from UNSW Art & Design plus other artworks and performance pieces. All the works on display are powered and lit by renewable energy.
Gather around the open fire to warm up, then walk the cruisey 1.5-kilometre loop through the park to see each sculpture. Or catch short films and animated flicks from the UNSW School of Arts and Media at Nox Night Cinema while you enjoy food truck fare, Gelato Messina scoops, spirits from Archie Rose and a selection of beers and wines.
The Sculpture Walk is open each night from 6pm to 8pm. Other festivities run from 5pm to 9pm.
