The outdoor concert series returns to Manly with a huge line-up of local legends including Icehouse, Pete Murray, the Presets, Bag Raiders, Jessica Mauboy and more.

Every year, North Head Sanctuary’s Barracks Precinct in Manly transforms into a concertgoer’s paradise. In 2024, from Friday September 13 to Sunday October 6, Night at the Barracks returns with a jam-packed outdoor program of live music.

Over four weekends and 12 shows, the 3000-capacity open-air venue will play host to some of the best and biggest names in Australian music. The series kicks off on September 13 with Aussie rock legends Icehouse, followed by Aria chart-topper Pete Murray on September 14, and vocal ensemble Gospo Collective performing songs by Whitney Houston and the Jackson siblings on September 15.

The second weekend sees Perth’s Birds of Tokyo take to the stage on September 20, Jon Stevens performing songs from Noiseworks and INXS on September 21, and the all-star Australian Rock Collective (featuring members of Spiderbait, Jet, Powderfinger and You Am I) on September 22.

Get ready for a throwback on the third weekend, with the Presets and Bag Raiders teaming up for a rare live set on September 27. Dunedin pop-rockers Six60 perform on September 28, followed by a Taylor Swift tribute night on September 29 for anyone who missed the recent Eras Tour madness.

It’s all about singer-songwriters on the final weekend of Night at the Barracks. Multi-instrumentalist Matt Corby and Top End sensation Jessica Mauboy perform on October 4 and 5 respectively, while Xavier Rudd takes care of closing night on October 6 with a two-hour sunset show.
