Mystics: Jono Ma, Jonti and Babekhul at Carriageworks

Longtime nostalgia-driven producers Jono Ma (Jagwar Ma) and Jonti will be splaying out the MIDI cords and smushing together their Junos during Vivid Sydney, on a collaborative evening of synths, sounds and sensual lighting.

Going down at Carriageworks on Sunday June 5, the evening will hum with tributes to the classic soft pad synth sounds of the ‘80s as well as the saturated visuals of VHS tapes and analogue film. Helming the visuals on the evening will be Patrick Santamaria from the Sydney-based creative studio Babekhul, responsible for moving images for the likes of Flight Facilities, DMA’s, Genesis Owusu and Justin Bieber.
