Mr Miyagi x Messina Eats 2.0
It’ll be dishing up three one-off dishes: Miyagi fried chicken (chicken pieces, ramen noodles, Japanese mayo, edamame and golden fried shallots, topped with tempura crumble); slow-cooked Murray Valley pork (served with ramen noodles, Japanese mayo, edamame, black bean, chilli and toasted sesame, and topped with ramen-spiced popcorn); and sesame mushroom smash (truffled soy and sake-braised mushrooms, ramen noodles, sesame dressing, edamame and chilli, topped with tomato-tempura crumble). Every dish comes in an edible potato-waffle basket, and you can get truffled wasabi fries on the side, too.
For dessert, Messina’s chefs will be whipping up a sweet Japanese bread coated in a crisp cookie dough and stuffed with vanilla gelato and strawberry sorbet.
