There are 14 Gelato Messina stores in New South Wales, but none of them are in the Northern Beaches. The solution? A pop-up caravan, parked outside popular Freshwaster pub the Harbord Hotel.
It’ll be parked in the driveway by the bottle shop four days a week. Takeaway scoops and cones aren’t available, but there’s a selection of bake-at-home treats and gelato tubs on offer (including salted caramel with white chocolate, gianduja, mango and chocolate chip).
Messina’s cookie pie collab with Andy Bowdy is available, as well as the cone-ception cookie pie kit, the original cookie pie and a sticky brioche snail filled with caramel custard and chocolate chips, then topped with malt caramel.
