Merimbula Mixtape at Love, Tilly Devine in Darlinghurst
Price: $60
Don’t be fooled by the neon-yellow street posters: Merimbula Mixtape isn’t a DJ set. It’s a one-night-only pop-up – at Darlo laneway fave Love, Tilly Devine – serving up tasty plates (and excellent drops) from two of the South Coast neighbourhood’s star venues.
The teams from Sunny’s Kiosk and Bar Superette have made the trip north, and they have a bunch of things planned. Snack through plates of cucumbers dressed up with wakame and pearls of roe, anchovy and ‘nduja toast, figs and blue cheese, and confit lamb ribs with tahini labneh – all starring produce from Merimbula. Winemaking couple Tony Zafirakos and Mads Park-Neilson’s Aristotelis ke Anthoula drops (favoured by Nigella Lawson) will be on pour.
There are sittings at 6pm, 6.15pm, 8pm and 8.15pm. Bookings recommended – seats are limited.
