MCA’s Ruinart Sundown Sketch Deluxe
The Museum of Contemporary Art and Ruinart, the world’s oldest champagne house, are bringing back their sell-out sketching workshops, which are set against the backdrop of the harbour at sunset.
The second series will be hosted by Australian artist Will French, who will teach a variety of drawing techniques with raw charcoal, chalk and natural materials over two hours inspired by the French Crayeres or Chalk Caves.
The heritage-listed site is where the 17th-century champagne-making traditions continue to be upheld.
Sessions run on Wednesdays in August from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Materials, nibbles and booze are provided.
