Marco Fusinato at Artspace

Thu 1st November, 2012 – Sun 9th December, 2012
43/51 Cowper Wharf Roadway, Woolloomooloo

The Artspace in Woolloomooloo will be hosting the strange yet exhilarating The Color of the Sky Has Melted, an exhibition of Marco Fusinato’s artwork that turns our notions of a typical art exhibition on their head.

This exhibition will transform the Artspace into an energetic investigation of what it means to experience art. Visitors to the exhibition will be greeted by a large wall at the entrance to the Artspace that will forcibly lead them to a startling sound-and-lighting rig that blasts 13,000 watts of white light and 105 decibels of white noise. This of course is just one of Fusinato’s awe-inspiring works.

On November 3rd, visitors can meet Fusinato in person and see him present a durational noise performance at Artspace as part of The Color of the Sky Has Melted from 11am to 5pm. Whilst in Sydney, Marco Fusinato will also be performing with Thurston Moore at the Hi-Fi on October 26th.

More information is available at the Artspace website.
