Le Mulled Wine Cinema
Tallawoladah Lawn, outside the MCA, will be lined with striped deckchairs from Thursday July 11 to Sunday July 14 as part of the annual Bastille Festival in The Rocks.
The deckchairs signify the return of Le Mulled Wine Cinema, an outdoor film series that mixes French cinema classics and family favourites with warm blankets, mulled wine and the beautiful vista of Sydney’s harbour.
Eight films will screen over four nights including Coco before Chanel starring Audrey Tautou, the film adaptation of Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables and the hilarious French comedy Welcome to the Sticks (Bienvenue Chez les Ch’tis). For the kids, there’ll be Disney’s classics The Hunchback of Notre Dame and the The Aristocats.
There’ll be two film screenings each night. The first film begins at 5.30pm and the second is from 8pm. There’ll also be freshly popped popcorn, assorted sweets and a mulled wine bar to satiate your movie-snack cravings.
With only 100 seats available per session, securing your tickets ahead of time is wise.
