Ikebana Flower Arranging Class
Setsuko Yanagisawa has more than 13 years' experience in ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging.
Go behind the scenes at her boutique, where you'll learn about the history of ikebana, tips on combining colours, patterns and textures to create a well-balanced arrangement, as well as practical pointers such as how to secure your flowers at the stems.
You'll have the chance to make your own arrangement using seasonal blossoms, which you can then take home to decorate your living space. Classes are small and run for two hours, so students can experience careful, hands-on guidance.
No prior knowledge is required, and all materials are provided on the day.
