Creativity shouldn’t be just for the creatives. Studies show that there’s a strong connection between creativity in the workplace and business success, no matter what industry you’re in. Companies that actively foster creativity have a competitive edge and consistently outperform their rivals.

Nicole Velik, founder of The Ideas Bodega, is a firm believer in the power of creativity. She’s returning to Vivid Sydney Ideas in 2018 with a specialised workshop, called Ideas to Innovation, designed to draw out your creative talent and help you come up with game-changing ideas.

Velik has worked in advertising agencies in Sydney and New York and has developed techniques to inspire creativity at The United Nations, Woolworths, Google, Nike, eBay, Coca-Cola, Nestle, the BBC, News Corp, Fairfax, Foxtel, AMP and Caltex.

As well as sharing her wealth of experience, Velik will offer practical techniques for developing creative ideas that can be applied to any industry. You’ll learn to use effective brainstorming sessions, identify new opportunities and break out of old ways of thinking that may be holding you back.

This is a practical workshop for anyone who wants to boost their creativity, expand their thinking and give their career a shot in the arm. Don’t forget your notepad and pen.

From 11am to 1pm.
