Icebergs x Halloween
Bondi fine diner Icebergs Dining Room and Bar will host its first-ever black-tie dinner this Halloween – and it's bringing Sneaky Sound System along for the ride. The magnificent space will get a dramatic makeover thanks to Sydney artist Dreamcatchersdreamtime, who will infuse the room with a dose of "Kubrick-esque" theatrics.
Feast on a theatrical menu of smoked Chris Bolton coral trout tartare topped with green ants; Blackmore bresaola served with pig’s-blood crackers; and roasted Taluca Park free-range suckling pig, presented on silver trays on top of burning bay leaves.
Head bartender Matty Opai has used horror films to influence cocktails such as a blood-red chilli-spiked watermelon concoction inspired by The Shining, which will be set alight; and a Gin Fizz turned black with activated charcoal.
Tickets include a four-course menu, "trick-or-treat petit fours" and entertainment, including a performance by Sneaky Sound System. Drinks will be charged upon consumption and the dress code is black tie.
