Huge Moves 11 at Ace Hotel Sydney

The fun, informative lo-fi wine party returns to the Ace Hotel this May for its 11th run. Huge Moves is presented by two of Sydney’s leading purveyors of natural vino, Joel Amos of booze retailer Drnks and James Hird, Icebergs sommelier and co-founder of the legendary Rootstock Sydney Festival.

As usual, producers, growers and importers of some of the best natural wine from Australia and abroad are getting involved – and you can expect over 100 tastings over the afternoon.

It’s all about creating community for people who appreciate minimal-intervention drinks. Some of the confirmed pourers include Genie Wine, Borachio, Frankly This Wine Was Made by Bob, Pride of Lunatics and Saison Aperitifs. Plus, there’ll be beer and non-alcs too.

The Studd siblings will be bringing their cheesy intel (and something special to snack on with all those grapes) and the lobby bar’s menu will be in full swing. DJs start spinning at 3pm, there’ll be bottles to take home and lucky dip pours from $10 at the after party.

Huge Moves 11 will sell out, so nab a ticket stat. There is only one session, from 1pm till 4pm, and entry is through the back lane via Good Chemistry.
