Brae at the Sydney Opera House
Chef Dan Hunter’s Victorian fine diner Brae is one of the country’s leading regional restaurants, and has earned international fame for its sustainability and purpose-driven style of cooking. Now, for the first, Hunter is bringing the much-loved Birregurra dining destination north for a special collaboration with adored chef and the Sydney Opera House’s culinary director Danielle Alvarez.
The duo is teaming up for four exclusive dinners set against the stunning backdrop of the Opera House. Guests can expect six courses along with a selection of low-fi wine pairings by Peter Dillon’s Handpicked Wines. Plus, there’s also the option of a non-alcoholic pairing.
“Collaborating with Dan on bringing this event to life has been a beautiful experience. Dan and I have always shared the belief that food should be created and enjoyed in harmony with nature. Our menu will be a tribute to our beautiful local produce, our Australian landscape, and the people who grow our food and care for our land. We’re excited to bring this event to life and hope it inspires and leaves a lasting impact,” Alvarez says.
Tickets cost $715 per person with matching wine pairings or $645 with non-alcoholic pairings.
