Guided Tour and Brunch at The Farm Byron Bay
By this stage The Farm Byron Bay barely needs any introduction. Born from co-owners Tom and Emma Lane’s stroke of inspiration after seeing their daughter eating freshly grown beans in a veggie patch, this 32-hectare property has developed into a major drawcard for visitors keen to get in touch with its “grow, feed, educate” ethos.
It’s also where Three Blue Ducks’ own “paddock to plate” philosophy is writ large – the Sydney superstar’s on-site northern outpost sources everything from just outside the backdoor or from other nearby producers.
Throughout 2019, The Farm Byron Bay is offering an exclusive guided tour of its sprawling property. Kicking off at 7am, guests will learn how the farm operates while getting the opportunity to feed various animals and discover how it harvests its crops.
The experience includes brunch at Three Blue Ducks, where you can dine on dishes such as spanner crab scramble with chilli, coriander, lime, farm beans and sourdough. And roasted farm eggplant with poached eggs, kasundi, dukkah and tahini yoghurt, served on charred flatbread.
A signed copy of The Farm Community, the Lanes’ cookbook and guide to living sustainably, only helps seal the deal.
From 7am to 11am Tuesday to Friday. Minimum two guests.
The masterclass is uniquely curated for the Mastercard Priceless Cities program and is exclusively for Mastercard cardholders.
