The Greek Festival of Sydney
Now in its 38th year, it’s common knowledge the organisers of this huge Greek festival know how to throw a party. So you’d be well advised to get along to this year’s festivities at Tumbalong Park in Darling Harbour.
There'll be market stalls stacked with all manner of Greek snacks and sweets, including delicacies such as souvlaki, loukoumades (doughnuts), kafe kai frappe (Greek coffee), Mythos beer, ouzo and more.
There’ll also be a solid line-up of entertainment, with theatre, visual-arts and dance performances, and a special live show by Greek singer Giota Negka (in her Australian debut) on Sunday night.
From 3pm to 10pm Saturday, and 10am to 10pm Sunday.
