Postponed: Gin Palooza 2020
This event has been postponed until December due to coronavirus. Those with tickets will be able to use them at the rescheduled event.
For one weekend in September, the International Convention Centre will become a mecca for gin lovers.
Gin Palooza 2020 brings 33 of Australia’s top craft-gin distillers together. Expect masterclasses featuring more than 160 gins, tastings and the chance to meet elite distillers.
There’ll also be a menu of bites to enjoy with your gin, including sliders and arancini, plus free coffees from Schibello Coffee.
If you’re looking to delve deeper into the world of gin, one highlight will be the masterclass with Eddie Brook, head distiller and co-founder of Cape Byron Brewery. You’ll get a gin cocktail upon arrival; then you’ll make your own gin cocktail during the presentation (you can keep the crystal glass when you leave); and you’ll receive a slider and a bottle of tonic, too.
Fri September 4 at 5.30pm
Sat September 5 at 1pm and 5.30pm
Entry to all sessions is $60. Entry to Eddie Brook’s masterclass is $150 (includes festival ticket).
