Deals and cash rewards app Litt – which uses augmented reality technology a la Pokemon Go – is on the hunt for the best burger in Australia. And the team reckons it's already found NSW's.

The Smoke & Candy from Bar Luca has been crowned best in the state by judge and competitive eater Cal Stubbs. It's a bespoke creation just for the competition, with a beef patty, smoked beef brisket, American cheese, liquid cheese, beer-battered onion rings, chipotle barbeque sauce and candied jalapenos – and you can score it for free.

Just download the Litt app and scan around your space until you find the floating burger. Catch it to score your free burg, then rock up to the diner today to redeem. Only 50 free burgers are available, and you have to be within five kilometres of a Bar Luca outpost to grab one (the CBD location is closed).
