Forage The Rocks Food and Drink Events

At The Rocks this August, it’s all about food. Forage The Rocks is bringing exclusive masterclasses, pop-up events, and even a food-themed cinema to the harbourside precinct this winter.

Forage The Rocks’ masterclass series is an expert-led exploration of food, wine, gin, rum, beer, cocktails and more. Many of the masterclasses include drinks on arrival and meal pairings as well – check out the full list of classes via The Rocks website.

Over in Atherden Street, The Rocks Laneway Cinema will run a film program throughout August. On Wednesday nights, you can catch movies like Jon Favreau’s road comedy-drama filmChef (2014), classic musical Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971), ‘90’s favourite The Big Lebowski (1998), and kitchen comedy Waiting… (2005). Bean bags and heaters will keep customers cosy, plus food and drinks will be available from local retailers.

With International Dog Day coming up on Friday August 26, pets are invited to BYO (Bring Your Owner) throughout the month and enjoy a program of special events and offers: including Sunday Doga sessions, a dog-friendly yoga class; a Dog screening at The Rocks Laneway Cinema, and special offers throughout the month including free puppycinos at The Tea Cosy.

Finally, The Rocks Wednesday Social offers 15,000 visitors $10 vouchers to spend at participating food and beverage retailers in the area, including Pony Lounge & Dining, Hickson House Distilling Co, Tayim, Endeavour Tap Rooms and many, many more.
