Flour & Stone High Tea at Famelia
Food & Drink
Price: $125
Head to the darling Newtown wine bar to launch Nadine Ingram’s latest book, with baked treats and matching cocktails.
Sydney’s adored baker Nadine Ingram (of Flour & Stone) is taking over Amelia Birch’s female-championing wine bar Famelia – together with Rose Kentish of Full Circle Spirits – for a boozy, sugary high tea in November.
It’s all to celebrate the release of Ingram’s second cookbook, Love Crumbs. Expect six different Ingram sweets, including limoncello-soaked sponges with citrusy ganache, fennel pollen parfaits with confit ruby grapefruit and calendula petal cakes.
Kentish has planned a drink pairing for each course, ranging from limoncello fizzes, and fig and gin sours, to pours of citrusy amaro and fruity rosé vermouth.
Bookings are essential for one of two sittings, at midday and 2.30pm.
