Sydney's Floating Cinema is back for its second run. Over seven nights during spring and summer the season will feature classic films screened on a boat at twilight set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour.
The season starts out spooky for Halloween with The Sixth Sense and The Blair Witch Project in October. In December there's Jingle All the Way, Elf, Die Hard and a Christmas Eve screening of Home Alone. Then, the cruise turns dreamboat on Valentine’s Day with Ryan Gosling in Crazy, Stupid, Love. It all wraps up on Mardi Gras with one more film to be announced.
Each spin around the harbour is around three hours long, depending on the film being shown. Snacks and drinks can be bought from the licensed bar onboard.
