Formerly the WOW Film Festival, For Film's Sake is a festival that celebrates diversity within the industry, and showcases films made by women for audiences across all demographics.
It kicks off with a speech from Anna Serner, CEO of the Swedish Film Institute and a major advocate of gender equality in film. Buy tickets.

Pop-umentary, Credible Likeable Superstar Role Model, follows artist Bryony Kimmings and her 10-year-old niece trying to combat the hyper-sexualised and commercialised world of pop by creating their own alternative pop star role model. No Lights No Lycra is hosting a dancing-in-the-dark session to the music of Beyonce, followed by a screening of Waiting for B about a group of Beyonce-obsessed fans.
Closing night will feature the first all-female Fight Night, in collaboration with Corporate Fighter. Three emerging film directors and the festival director will engage in their first amateur fight, following eight weeks of training. There will also be a screening of the documentary Burqa Boxers and Girlfight.
