European Christmas Market at the Polish Club
The newly renovated Polish Club in Ashfield is bringing its much-loved European Christmas Market back for the first time in almost three years. Enjoy a day of cultural festivities, food, crafts and other wares from over 20 stalls on the day.
Make a stop for handmade Polish pottery from Boleslawiec, crocheted ornaments by Hanna’s Hobby, and traditional embroidered clothes and gifts from the Polish Design Store, just to name a few.
Foodwise, there’ll be pillowy pierogi (dumplings stuffed with white cheese or meat), kielbasa (Polish sausages) and paczki doughnuts to feast on. For something a bit more substantial, grab a table at the Polish Club’s restaurant Sto Lat for pork knuckles, schnitzels and potato pancakes. Or pop by Polka Cafe & Deli to pick up a selection of European chocolate, honey, jam and other tasty condiments.
Santa will also be roaming through the market for those wanting to get a photo in between singing along to live music and Christmas carols.
Entry is free.
From 10am to 4pm.
