Espresso Martini Project at Sammy Junior and Paramount Coffee Project
At some point in the last decade Espresso Martinis went from a localised off-menu treat to a global standard on tap. If you’ve ever wished to reclaim some ownership over the now ubiquitous drink, here’s your chance.
As part of the World Class Cocktail Festival running Wednesday April 28 to Sunday May 2, you can celebrate coffee cocktails at two different venues.
At Sammy Junior, expect a personalised stamp on your Espresso Martini (featuring a delicious shot of Mr. Black coffee) – choose a picture, or an image of your cocktail sipping face using the Ripples machine. It’s one of those things that needs to be seen firsthand.
At Paramount Coffee Project, you can actually choose which roast of coffee you want in your martini. The martinis will be made with Ketel One Vodka and a series of personalised roasts featuring a choice of Columbian or Ethiopian coffee beans. Choose Columbian for a more full-bodied, sweeter taste, while Ethiopian coffee is notable for its citrusy, syrupy notes. It’s actually the first time Paramount Coffee Project will be open at night as a bar.
