Enmore Road is one of the hottest stretches in Sydney. During Dine Out, four venues – all within 300 metres of each other – are knocking it out of the park with special deals.

There are great bars all over Sydney, but the sheer density of watering holes on Enmore Road leaves Inner Westies spoiled for choice. Of course, everyone has their favourite, but for one week this winter, we’re giving you the perfect opportunity to visit all of them.

Four great bars – all within 300 metres of each other – are coming together to put on special deals for Broadsheet’s Dine Out festival.

Deadwax

Dinner’s sorted with Deadwax’s Dine Out Happy Hour. From 7pm to 10pm between Tuesday and Thursday, the Deadwax team is discounting its signature Wax Blossom cocktail and Wagyu sando. It’ll be $30 for the pair, which is a discount of $21. The Wax Blossom is Martini-adjacent. It’s made with a house-blended gin, sake, dry vermouth and lemon-sesame oil. The grilled Wagyu pastrami sando is served on a Hawaiian bun, seasoned with Dijonnaise, stacked with Swiss cheese and served with house pickles.

The Hot Listed vinyl bar is celebrating its first anniversary that weekend, so it’s the perfect time to pop in and take the bar for a spin.

Bar Demo

The pint-sized cocktail bar is keeping things tiny with a two-sip Gilda-tini. For $20, the team is making a teeny version of the Bar Demo Martini. It’s made with Tanqueray Gin and served at a frosty negative-fifteen degrees with a Gilda on the side. The Gildas perfectly salty with a speared guindilla, blue cheese-stuffed olive, an anchovy and topped with lemon oil.

The Duke of Enmore

The Duke of Enmore is known for pushing things to the edge. For Dine Out, the team is serving up “Hot Ones: the Spicy Marg edition”. Inspired by the fiery interview show, The Duke will be serving five different Spicy Margs laced with hot sauces that gradually climb higher and higher on the Scoville scale.

Brave punters pick up a stamp card at the start of the week which will be stamped off for every drink they down. Manage them all, and you’ll score the title of “Lord of the Scovilles” (aka legend).

The Margs will each be $25 and will be made with Patron Silver tequila.

Jacoby’s Tiki Bar

During Dine Out, Jacoby’s Tiki Bar is welcoming us to Jamrock. During the week, the team is serving up a special rum cocktail: Royale Pineapple. The drink is made with Red Mill rum, pineapple, lime, Orgeat, ginger, bitters and orange blossom and will cost $20. A Jamaican beef patty served with mango habanero salsa from the spice-forward food truck Uncle Ay-Jay’s will be available for $6. You can grab both as a happy meal for $25.
