Dine Out: Theeca x Das Juice Dinner

With its locally famous buttermilk pancakes and cave-like interior, Darlinghurst cafe Theeca reliably buzzes from morning to afternoon. Come on Fridays and Saturdays nights, though, and you’ll find the place has slipped into wine bar mode, with an equal buzz about the place. Records spin behind the bar and natural wines adorn every table. The nighttime snack game is also strong.

For Broadsheet’s first Dine Out festival , Theeca is teaming up with oustanding South Australian winery Das Juice for a winter menu launch, with dishes including flatbread with porcini butter, grilled king prawns with chilli butter and stracciatella with persimmon, beetroot, capsicum and leek. There’ll be a la carte and set menu options on the night, alongside 2024 vintage magnums from Das Juice. Plus, 712 Museum has been called up for tablescaping duties, so expect pretty blooms all over the place. Bookings essential.
