Shellfish and market fish, seasoned with saffron, orange and Ricard then served swimming in a lobster bisque. Oui, oui oui!
Bistro Moncur is a veritable institution. Over the last several decades it’s won loyal fans with its decadent French fare, but there’s one dish that’s captured more hearts than most: the seafood bouillabaisse.
As part of Broadsheet’s inaugural Dine Out festival, the bouillabaisse will be back on the menu for a week. The dish is a heady mix of market fish and seasonal shellfish perfumed with orange, saffron and Ricard. The components are served in a rich roasted lobster bisque. Each bowl comes with a side of rouille and a baguette.
It’s truly indulgent and it’s available at market price.
