Dine Out: Australia Street Dinner Party

The Paisano and Daughters team opened Continental Deli on Newtown’s Australia Street in 2015. Ten years later, the crew took over the three shopfronts on either side of the deli and opened Osteria Mucca, Mister Grotto and Joe’s Tavern.

The four venues share DNA and a roof, but serve vastly different menus. For Dine Out 2026, they’re getting together and playing all the hits.

For one night, signature drinks and dishes from each venue will come together on one epic set menu. Everyone’s bringing a plate. Continental’s Gilda makes an appearance; so too Osteria Mucca’s ricotta gnudi. Joe’s Tavern brings its assiette of lamb and Mister Grotto has everything covered on the seafood front.

Naturally, there’ll be plenty of things in tins – the teams have whipped up canned cocktails (one from each venue) exclusively for the dinner party. Round up your mates and we’ll see you on Australia Street.
