In Conversation with Grayson Perry
Grayson Perry is a British contemporary artist known for his ceramic vases and cross-dressing. The talk is part of Ideas at the House and coincides with the launch of his exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art called My Pretty Little Art Career. The conversation, How to be an artist just like me, will explore Perry's personal and professional past.
Perry's art explores social issues through ceramics, sculptures and drawings, and incorporates his signature sly humour. Known for his cross dressing, Perry's alter-ego, Claire, is also featured in the art and may make an appearance at the talk. Doors will open at 3pm.
