An assembly of designers, artists, musicians and makers at Cell Block Theatre.

The feeling of uncovering a new fashion label, design trend, dish or cocktail is thrilling – especially when it can all be found under one roof.

On October 27, Connoisseur’s Discovery Festival, presented by Broadsheet, will transform Darlinghurst's Cell Block Theatre into a cornucopia of designers, artists, chefs and musicians. Those looking to be inspired, discover a new obsession or become an early adopter (don’t be ashamed) will find plenty in the way of fashion, art, design and food.

Australian labels such as Double Rainbouu, McIntyre and The Potter x The Clay will showcase their wares, meaning that you’ll be able to buy everything from linen dresses and tropical shirts to timeless merino jumpers and handmade ceramics.

Redfern favourites DEA will provide a design pedigree with a collection of unique and homemade homewares, alongside brightly-coloured food-themed artwork from Billie Justice Thomson.

Among the food on offer will be Dish, which will serve up classic Sri Lankan street food, and modern Indian fare by Masala Theory.

In between browsing, take a break with a coffee from Edition Coffee Roasters or get your nails done by Trophy Wife Nail Art while listening to DJ Earl Grey. You should probably also sample one of Connoisseur’s new ice cream cookie because, really, when has eating an ice cream sandwich been a bad decision?
