The festive season may be over, but that spending hangover can linger. From now until Tuesday December 16, 2026, NAB credit card holders can score $50 off their bill when they spend $250 or more and pay using their NAB credit card at a clutch of Sydney’s most in-demand restaurants. To access the offer, diners simply need to book via the NAB-exclusive link before dining.
The list includes some of the city’s most consistently booked dining destinations – from buzzy newcomers to long-running icons – making it the perfect excuse to lock in a dinner reservation without the guilt.
In Newtown, Hot Listed Bistro Grenier is a candlelit, white-tableclothed French bistro hidden upstairs at Odd Culture, set inside what was once an attic and storage room (grenier is French for “attic”). From the team behind Odd Culture, The Old Fitz and Pleasure Club, the menu gently remixes French classics like souffle, vol-au-vent, cassoulet and steak frites, plus a baked-to-order maple syrup pudding worth saving room for. There’s also a banquet option for $95 per person.
In Redfern, Attenzione is an Italian-ish bar and diner with big dinner-party energy, best known for its cult-following pasta dishes – including thick, chewy noodles like the Pico XL slicked in green scallion sauce or cacio e pepe. Depending on the night, you might find octopus ragu, blue swimmer crab or pistachio crema, plus snacks like cos hearts with tarama and sumac, raw scallops, swordfish Milanese and more. The wine list at this Hot Listed venue is extensive, thoughtful and fun, with a particular love for nebbiolo.
Over in Barangaroo, Woodcut is the sprawling 260-seat restaurant from Ross and Sunny Lusted, the duo behind The Bridge Room (now closed) and Melbourne’s Hot Listed Portuguese restaurant Marmelo. The menu moves through the four open kitchens – steam, fire, smoke and ice – with dishes ranging from pippies steamed with vadouvan and curry leaves to robata-grilled skewers and wood-fired large-format steaks and fish. The wine list is equally ambitious, spotlighting both global icons and regenerative producers.
In Haymarket, Ho Jiak – also on the Hot List – is chef Junda Khoo’s love letter to Malaysian home cooking and street food, inspired by his early memories in his amah’s kitchen. Expect signature dishes like laksa, nasi lemak, and char kway teow with spanner crab or jumbo prawns, plus plenty of hawker-style favourites. (And if you’re heading to Ho Jiak Town Hall, keep an eye out for Khoo’s famous laksa bombs.)
In the CBD, Morena is a grand Latin American dining room set inside the 150-year-old GPO building on Martin Place, marking Peruvian-born chef Alejandro Saravia’s return to Sydney. The menu draws from across Latin America – including Venezuela, Colombia, Chile and Argentina – with dishes like fried eggplant arepas, suckling goat with mole and blue corn tostadas, swordfish cutlet with yerba maté sauce, and marlin ceviche with tamarillo and coconut tiger’s milk, plus pisco cocktails and an impressive Latin American wine list.
Additionally, there are more excellent Sydney restaurants to choose from. Find the full list here.
