Bon Fromage Festival of European Cheeses
Grate news – cheesy festival Bon Fromage has once again returned in a virtual format. But you won’t just be appreciating and learning about cheeses through your screen – there are cheese boxes to accompany the events, and many of them are free.
The special festival box is one of the freebies – it includes eight varieties of French cheeses (picked from a selection of 16) weighing half a kilo all together, and you can view an artfully plated 30-metre-long cheese table when you go to pick it up (delivery isn’t available for this box).
There are different masterclasses too, each with its own unique cheese box. Make cheesy crepes with Four Frogs creperie, pair cheese with either wine or spirits with help from Noble Spirits’ Grégoire Bertaud, paint a masterpiece while nibbling on cheese with “paint and sip” experience Pinot & Picasso, build the perfect cheese board with cheesemonger Aurore Ghigho, choose the best jams, honey and quince paste with providore Simon Johnson, and more.
The cheese in the masterclass boxes is free – although some boxes include other supplies and might cost an extra fee. Rest assured, there are plenty that are fully complimentary.
Masterclass boxes can be picked up at the Entertainment Quarter or delivered for an extra fee.
