Bombay Sapphire x MCA Pop-Up Bar
The waterfront strip from Circular Quay to Sydney Harbour will be lit up in spectacular light displays during Vivid Sydney.
And in keeping with the vivid atmosphere, the Sculpture Terrace at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) will be transformed into an open-air bar looking out over the art and light installations along the harbourfront.
To echo the city’s glowing landmarks, Bombay Sapphire is collaborating with the MCA on a menu that involves glow-in-the-dark cocktails and the distillery’s first hot-ginger cocktail.
Three variations of the gin and tonic using native botanicals will be available: lemon myrtle and thyme, karkalla (a native succulent) sprig and orange, and finger lime and sage. Other cocktails include the Barbershop Negroni and Chocolate and Roses. The Winter Warmer in Laverstoke is a warm and spicy cocktail made with ginger, chocolate butter and Martini Riserva Speciale Rubino Vermouth.
Enjoy your drink while appreciating the work of local artist Jonny Niesche, which will be projected onto the facade of the MCA.
Open 5pm to 9pm, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights.
