At Manly Greenhouse, you’re in prime position to watch surfers slice across the waves and beachgoers spill across the sand. From the rooftop bar you can even take in the scene while sipping on a G&T – an ideal location to enjoy the spoils of summer.
On December 6, the venue will unveil a (temporary) makeover thanks to Bombay Sapphire, to help the summer celebrations along until January 31. The Greenhouse will turn “Bombay blue” thanks to an array of creative lighting and artworks created in collaboration with New York illustrator and graphic designer Sasha Prood.
Bespoke projections of cosmic patterns, a backlit selfie mirror, lush greenery and smart use of UV lighting will bring a fresh look and feel to the space, and drinking vessels will be decorated with edible paint for customised cocktails. By night the bar area will be transformed: planters will be illuminated from above, and shimmering, galaxy-like images will float across the ceiling, which will be trimmed in blue.
Guests can also follow the neon staircase upstairs to the rooftop bar, where new artworks and UV lighting will match the sea-blue theme.
