Black to Beaches
Espresso Martini-lovers, this is not a drill: a festival dedicated to the captivating cocktail is coming to the northern beaches on March 16 and 17.
The celebration of the jitter-inducing beverage is being spearheaded by Manly Spirits Co to celebrate the launch of its new coffee liqueur, Blackfin Cold Brew.
Starting at 2pm both days, punters will learn how to make Espresso Martinis and get a behind-the-scenes look at the production of Blackfin, which combines wheat vodka, native botanicals, sea minerals and ethically sourced coffee beans from Seven Miles roasters.
Manly eatery Peanut Butter Jelly will be on food duty with a menu featuring Blackfin-infused dishes (like Espresso Martini tacos), which will be be paired with coffee-inspired drinks. The $60 tickets include a cocktail on arrival, all masterclasses and activities, entertainment, food and a bottle of Blackfin to take home.
