Sydney CBD’s Quay Quarter Lanes hub officially opened this year with 22 eateries, stores and salons in the former merchant laneways between Young and Loftus streets. Now those streets are being filled with live music every week.
Swing by around midday every Wednesday and you’ll be treated to performances by local musicians, with jazz, classical, R&B and other genres in between from Trio Grande, swing musicians George Washing Machine, Mexican harpist Victor Valdes, singer Ruby Jackson and the theatrical Ali Kush Cabaret.
And grab lunch while you’re at it – some of the precinct’s retailers include Marrickville Pork Roll, Humble Bakery, Hinchcliff House and Kobo.
