The Australian Ballet Presents Cinderella
This production – created specially for The Australian Ballet by Alexei Ratmansky – has already played to packed houses in London, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. It is witty, feisty, beautiful and full of heart.
Ratmansky is artist in residence at American Ballet Theatre, a recipient of the MacArthur “Genius” grant, and the acknowledged master of the modern story ballet. His Cinderella takes its vision from Sergei Prokofiev’s dark and surprising 1940s score, uses surrealist-inspired projections, and features an absolutely killer ball gown.
This production is suitable for children.
