Icebergs is launching a Sunday aperitivo event on its glorious terrace, hovering over the ocean. It's riffing off the popular Dolphin Hotel Wine Room's Delfino Aperitivo Sunday sessions, while highlighting Aussie produce and talent. Icebergs head chef Alex Prichard and guest chefs will be channelling the classic Australian barbeque, cooking over wood and coals in front of guest's eyes.
The series kicks off on February 21 – and there's some truly excellent talent involved. Anthony Puharich (Victor Churchill, Vic's Meat Market); Morgan McGlone (Belles Hot Chicken); and Andrew Guard (Andrew Guard Wine Imports) are all getting in on the action.
Round two is on February 28, with Paul Carmichael (Momofuku Seiobo); Mike Bennie (P&V Wine Merchants); and Anton Forte (co-owner of Restaurant Hubert, Alberto's Lounge, Baxter Inn and more) joining the fray.
This is just the beginning – the rest of the program will be announced when borders reopen. And, at the end of the series, a donation will be made to the La Perouse Land Council.
Sessions will run from 2pm to 4pm and from 5pm to 7pm. Tickets cost $50, with that value taken off your final bill.
