Vintage Japanese tailored suits and the world’s most extensive range of Gaultier mesh tops.

High-end Melbourne-based fashion pop-up Aoyama Archive is popping up for the first time in Sydney at the Campbell Project Space in Surry Hills. After a series of guerrilla pop-up events in Melbourne, Sydney is well overdue for this expressive subcultural fashion experience.

The pop-up will sell archived clothes from the biggest fashion houses in Japan, including Issey Miyake, Comme des Garçons and Yohji Yamamoto. There’ll also be a focus on pieces from Jean-Paul Gaultier and recent additions from Thierry Mugler, Undercover and Prada. The pop-up will also have the world’s most extensive range of Gaultier mesh tops, as well as tailored suits from the ’80s and ’90s.

All garments are sourced from global archives. Sapporo beer and champagne will be served.

The three-day sale kicks off with an opening event on March 22 from 5.30pm to 9pm, and will be open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday.
