Alex and Trahanas x Arts Matter: Mostly Nice Times
Sydney-born fashion and lifestyle label Alex and Tranhans has teamed up with community and creative studio Arts Matter to present a two-week exhibition of photographer Nick Tsindos’ latest work.
Titled Mostly Nice Times, it features a series of photographs from Tsindos’ travels to Italy with family between 2015 to 2020. With scenes from Milan to Taormina (his grandmother’s hometown), it’s a contemplation of the time he’s spent in these cities and the stories and memories his grandmother shared. “She passed away this year, so naturally I’ve been reflecting on a place special to us,” Tsindos says.
The Sydney-based photographer explores the relationship between human behaviour and the environment throughout much of his work. “In its simplest form, I just try and document moments unique to the environment I find myself in, and unique to my eye.”
