40-Cheese Toasties for National Cheese Day
It’s easy to be cheesy when Deliveroo brings you the goods. The delivery platform is helping six Sydney restaurants release their versions of a toastie with 40 (40!) different cheeses for National Cheese Day – which, if you didn’t know, is this Friday, June 4. The crisp and gooey sandwiches will be available for two weeks.
Each venue is doing it differently, so you can take your pick (or try them all). Butter in Parramatta and Chatswood is whipping up what it calls the Cheese Toast Grillah, while Custom Cafe up in Brookvale has a ham-and-40-cheese number. Other participating venues include South Dowling Sandwiches in Alexandria, Parramatta’s Paper Plane Cafe and De’assis Cafe in Collaroy.
We won’t list down every single cheese in the mix, but it includes classics such as buffalo mozzarella, feta, pecorino and burrata, plus wine-infused cheese, cumin-gouda, blue stilton, truffelino and pickled-onion cheddar.
The toasties are available for two weeks and cost $12 each – with $5 from every order going straight to Eat Up, a charity feeding hungry Aussie school kids.
